Was this worth the bloodshed of soldiers and of innocents? Was it worth losing your arms, little Ali? Was there NO OTHER WAY to have achieved this? Am I supposed to jump up and down and clap and dance and cry for joy that MY nation has been turned into a shitpile and everyone in the world hates MY nation now?

What I would say to this jerk is: Why is YOU being loved and adored so much more important than freedom of PEOPLE, wherever people are found? And if the founding fathers had decided that life was more important than liberty, where would you be today?

This is probably a stupid question, but indulge me.

Has anyone posted the New York Times front page piece written by John Burns, yet?

Some of the passages in his report read like Robert Fisk.

RE: US providing Iraqi security...

If there is no news about terrorist attacks coming out of Iraq, does that mean our snipers are having a turkey shoot?

The quieter the news is, the more likely our troops are laying low near the mosques, and ambushing the terrorists -- in my opinion...

Strange, all you can think of is how Bush will look or appear here. How odd.

I said Bush's strategy was successful.

Quite simply put: he was right and you, as usual, are wrong.

Leave it to you to find something to carp about on this glorious day. IMO, you actively LOOK for the worst in every situation.

Very, very telling. What a SOUR person you are.

That is very possible. But if the libs got ahold of it, they'd call it voter suppression. Weren't they griping that the vote is illegal cause not enough TERRORISTS were going to vote?

The lines are not intimidating voters, apparently.

In November 2004, people in Milwaukee and other cities claimed they were "disenfranchised" because of long lines.

How long would you wait in line?

Fox News reporting the long winded, both sides of the issue response from John Kerry. Why, I don't know. Man I thought this guy was going to disappear.

I'm watching CNN's Amanpour, and even she seems pro-democracy today, and she's saying that there was far less violence than expected, praising the courage of voters who came out, etc.

I hope this bit of reality isnt too graphic to post here. what brave people the voting Iraqis are.

An Iraqi man gets help from a U.S. Army medic after he was shot in the face by an insurgent near a polling station in Mosul, Iraq (news - web sites) on election day, Sunday, Jan. 30, 2005. He was rushed to a local hospital and is expected to survive. (AP Photo/Jim MacMillan)

Ignore that clown Howlin. He is probably a Rat who has been stirring trouble. He hates W and that is what motivates him. Raining on peoples parade is what makes these peoples days, pathetic really.

Pray for W and Our Freedom Fighting Troops

Anyone notice in President Bush's speech that NOT ONCE did he draw attention to himself?

Do you think the democrats noticed?

How different the speech would had been if Kerry had given it!!!
