Tonight: LIVE performance of the fine art of seppuku.Nah, the DNC is poll-testing the possible post-election spin as we speak. She'll be using the new talking points tomorrow and won't even acknowledge that her previous ones were so wrong.

I understand that Chris Matthews was supposed to air a 6pm special today on the Iraqi election, but has had to postpone it because all his scheduled guests and his schtick was set up to rub the bad news in Bush's face........Poor Chris. He and his cohorts must be deeply depressed that the Iraqi people are so determined to have their freedom.

CONGRATULATIONS, IRAQIS!!
You not only elected a democratic government, but also expressed your contempt for the cause of the terrorists by going to the ballots!! More Iraqis went to the polls - despite of 36 deads and many more wounded - than Americans participated in the Presidential Election, or my fellow-citizens in state or local elections, for that matter. I pay my respect to the voters, because they know that voting is the most important item in a Republic. The sovereign in every Republic is the people.

Re:
Has anyone heard how many weeks it will take to tally the votes? I heard at least 2 weeks. I could care less who wins . . hell, I don't even know who is running, I'm just soooo happy to see them voting. Makes me proud.

Oops, I said 45 Iraqis have been killed today, but I think the real number is somewhere around 25 to 35.

The report I just listened to on Fox News has some amazing numbers that are far better than I had even hoped for. This is a great testimony to prayer, to the vision of our President, and to the potential for Iraqi freedom.
I am so gratified by this.
For all the naysayers, there is now lots of light at the end of the tunnel.

We really should consider using that blue ink system.
I was thinking the same thing. I wish we fingerprinted everyone that votes here in the U.S. I don't think a Dem would ever win another election.

Thank you so much for that information. We missed it. However, I wish Tim would have pulled that journalism integrity from his hat during the elections...he might have garnered some respect from this freeper. Thanks a lot. To heck with them all..today is a day of celebration. :)
To: Peach
A freeper on the other side told me they heard there was 95% turnout in the North and South of Iraq! Damn! That's almost as much as the black turnout in Philadelphia a few months back! Go Iraq!
