Reminds me of our election night as it became clear that Bush's lead in Ohio was to big for Dems to overcome. I think I watched more CNN that night than I had in the previous five years combined.

I can't believe how excited I am for them this morning!! To breath the air of Freedom is taken for granted here, and whirls anew in Iraq!! How sweet it must feel.
Sure the terrorists will try to take it from them again. Hell, the Democrats are trying to take it from us. In our own election, democrats set signs on fire, slashed tires, shot holes in campaign offices, lied to the public, threw dirt and stones at old women in line in Florida, but we got through it, by fighting back.. Not quite the same as an IED or a mortar, but I wonder if the dems had of had them, would they have used them?? Nah, they had the media in their pocket.. OH lets see, the terrorists have Al-Jazeera.. So we are not that different from the new voting public in Iraq. Execept that maybe, there are more people in Iraq that appreciate it, and the blood of the soldiers who fought for their right to vote, and fight for our right to stay free too.
Be Brave Iraqi's... 200 years and our political parties are still at war... but we're here because we are free.

In this case, the questions were more extraordinary than the answers, given that no major journalist asked him about those things during the campaign. This is exactly what I say to people who say that there was no political bias proven in the CBS Rathergate affair.

"He is just smart enough to be a seditious, treasonous, enemy-aiding whiskey-addled privileged murdering far-left limousine liberal."
No, he is the crazy uncle in the attic. The Dems have him out front staking out a position contrary to the Administration. That way if there is a disaster the Dems can claim Ted called it right.
Picture a kid standing next to the phone saying "the phone will ring....now" over and over again until it really does ring and then saying "see I told you it would".
Ted is not drunk or an idiot, he is playing the only card the Dems have left. They can only hope for disaster of some kind that they can pin on President Bush.
A very wise man once told me that "When you are right, you are right. Nobody can make you wrong." President Bush has taken the right positions based on the principles upon which this country was founded. Even if there are parts of his agenda that run into trouble he is still right. Ted and company are still wrong.
