So we've had 72% turnout vote in Iraq, a historic event as important as the fall of the Berlin Wall, and all Russert can do is interview an also-ran who lost nearly three months ago today?
But, I used to be a big fan of carnival freak shows, like the Fat Lady, Monkey Boy and Two Headed Calf.
Thank you for posting this. On a morning like this, it helps. I am so elated over the elections!!!!! I can't believe the wonderful news...72% and 95% in some areas!
Both my tv's will be on....If I want joy I watch Condi, if I want a few really good laughs, I watch Kerry.
Yes, in Idaho ...
"It is the neighbors who are unusual. In Idaho, the billionaire financier George Soros lives next door. Just across the river is Steve Wynn, the billionaire Las Vegas casino executive; also nearby are the actor Tom Hanks, and Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger of California. ..."

Russert and sKerry still haven't heard the news about OUR election, way back in November. How in the hell could they have anything relevant to say about the Iraqi elections, today? Only Fox, with Secretary Rice, has a clue about relevancy.
Bayh, Biden, Lugar, Levin? Nothing to see, here, move along.
Heck, even the DUmmies don't like John Kerry. They think he's a gutless coward because he conceded the next day.
One thing I do know from watching Russert so many years is he'll be fair and down the middle, while John Kerry will be spewing so much BS, he'll look like the horse's ass he's always been.
The shows are Live in the Eastern and Central Time Zones. Although I believe the Los Angeles network affiliates also carry the shows live.
Elections?? That's old news. What's important now is that three GI's were injured when their HMMWV had a flat tire in Baghdad. It's all Bush's fault.
Saw part of Tim Russert Show last night. Russert has a new hair style: little buzz-cut sprouts on sideburns, long, swept back hair falling to a pert page-boy at the back of his neck, if he had a neck. Could long fall be an extension?
Senator Kerry's hair dominated a pre-election sit-down with Mr. Russert. After watching a video of his l972 Senate slandering of U.S. military, the Senator sighed and wondered what had happened to the glossy mop of his youth.
The video was a lead-up for Mr. Russert to ask if Senator Kerry regretted his treasonous remarks, but to Kerry, the most compelling part of the video was the gorgeousness of his young man's hair.
Here is the transcript of today's Tim and Kerry show: no wmds, lying to American people, deception, Rumsfeld bad, Wolfowitz bad, Bush bad, new poll shows everything bad, Iraq election illegitimate, Suniis, Suniis, Suniis, not worth 1400 American lives, hubris, hubris, no wmds, deception, still wrong war, wrong place, wrong time, Rice bad, have to repair alliances, let French in, Bush bad, 55,000 Ohio votes, still questions about election fraud in Ohio, can't run fair elections in this country, maybe Iraqi military should oversee 2008 election, American people bad, hubris, majority Americans oppose war, hate Bush. Cheney's daughter still lesbian. Keeping options open for 2008, Barak Obama possible running mate. Who's your stylist, Tim; love the page-boy.
Remember his sappy LOVEFEST with Hillary back last February, I think. It was a slobberfest.
Russert is a sneaky, very able lying weasle!!!
>One thing I do know from watching Russert so many years is he'll be fair and down the middle,
He WAS fair till after 911 while interviewing Cheney. For the last year, he has completely changed, showing his true party colors.
LOL! How about "Slay the Nation"?
72% turnout in Iraq and Russert has Kerry on his show.
Maybe he'll deem it somewhat important enough to discuss the Iraq vote with the roundtable.
It will be interesting to see Kerry's long face when he hears the turnout was 72% in Iraq. Oh, happy day.
