anyone have info on the The Patrick AFB O Club that burned today? Seven trucks from COF, Cocoa Beach and Brevard County on the scene. Looked as if they were trying to control the burn (less building to demo). The casual bar (Block House formerly known as the Propwash), adjunt to the Club, still intact.

SNIP: At least 16 dead, 258 infected in Chinese meningitis outbreak (Updated at 1445 PST)
BEIJING: China issued emergency regulations on Tuesday to counter an outbreak of the deadly spinal disease meningitis that has killed at least 16 people among 258 cases this month.
The whole country has been affected with the exception of Fujian province in the southeast, Hainan in the south and the Tibet region, the health ministry said on its website.
"At present, there were 258 cases of meningitis reported in January with 16 fatalities, 43 more cases than in December 2004 and 94 more cases than in the same period last year," the ministry said. The worst hit provinces are Anhui, Henan, Hebei, Jiangsu and Sichuan.

DUSHANBE, Tajikistan (AP) - A car loaded with explosives blew up in the Tajik capital Dushanbe on Monday morning, killing the driver and wounding three other people, the emergency situations minister said. There was no immediate indication of who was responsible. Interior Minister Humdin Sharipov launched an investigation into whether the blast was a terrorist act.
