The Threat Matrix

The title refers to a daily report given to the president of the United States detailing the most serious terrorist threats against the country. To tackle those threats, the government has formed a top-notch task force to infiltrate the terror cells and cut off the danger.

"Every morning, the president receives a list of the top ten terrorist threats - this list is known as the threat matrix."

We here at FR are trying to be in conjunction with the daily reports around the world that involve threats. We try to provide a storehouse of information that takes hours of research.

WASHINGTON -- Mosques across the U.S. continue to carry books and pamphlets describing non-Muslims as "infidels" and promoting intolerance against Western society, according to a forthcoming study by Freedom House, a U.S. human-rights group.

Despite vows from American Islamic leaders after Sept. 11, 2001, to proselytize peacefully, New York based Freedom House researchers found 57 documents with incendiary material in more than a dozen mosques and Islamic centers in six states and Washington, D.C., visited over the past year.

I love their use of the term "aspiring immigrants". At that point, they're ILLEGALS!

The newspaper and the device's developers are touting this as a way to keep illegals from getting dehydrated in our bad ol' deserts after they sneak across our borders. How about calling it what it is - an incursion sensor.

"Nine Foreign Nationals Arrested in Benefits Investigation"

ARTICLE SNIPPET: "U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents, along with local law enforcement officers, arrested nine criminal foreign nationals Thursday in Hampton Roads.

Six of the arrested had previous aggravated felony convictions. The remaining three had vanished after an Immigration judge ordered them out of the country.

Officials identified the suspects during an investigation that alleges the nine attempted to obtain various immigration benefits including work authorization, permanent resident status, and naturalization."

Hello to my TM FRiends!!!!

I AM BACK!!!!!!!!!! I have missed you and all my TM friends. Going without TM and FR was like going without oxygen. I was really upset when the site got blocked. I'm online at home now (using work's computer). I couldn't wait to get back to TM.

Thank you all so very very much for the prayers. I've been pretty sick, but I'm on the mend now and ready to get back to the work of fighting terrorism.

So, seeing as how we're at another high state of alert, here's a reminder of some things to be watching for:

(1) PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION & PRIVATE TOURS: Individuals using public transportation such as subways, trains and buses should exercise additional diligence and be alert to their surroundings. Caution should be exercised when gathered in confined areas associated with public transportation hubs such as train and bus stations. Individuals on tour buses are also urged to remain vigilant as these conveyances have been specifically named as potential targets of kidnapping in recent issues of the terrorist training manual Camp al Battar.

(2) BRIDGES, TUNNELS, LANDMARKS: When traveling by car, individuals are urged to be aware on approach to bridges and tunnels throughout the US, looking for any stopped trucks, including but not limited to tankers and closed cargo trucks at the base of bridges or tunnels. People are urged to identify, in advance if possible, outlets or alternate routes to escape from or avoid a potentially dangerous event. Landmarks have been included in this advisory as they have been peripherally referenced in recent forum postings and communications.

(3) MALLS, SHOPPING CENTERS: People are urged to be aware of any unattended bags, backpacks, briefcases or other unattended objects in all populated and congested areas. Consistent with the official US government warning recently issued, everyone should be on the lookout for anyone who appears out of place within the surroundings, especially those wearing bulky clothing that could potentially conceal explosive devices and/or chemical containers.

Just finished catching up as best I can.

I'm touched at so many prayers and well wishes. I don't know what to say except thank you (and I wish the screen would stop getting blurry).

I'm honored to be a part of such a wonderful group of folks.

On a personal note, I've been making some critical changes in my life. I stopped drinking completely (was a heavy drinker for a very long time) and have quite smoking due to the pneumonia. I Trula feel that The Lord is preparing me for something. I don't know what and right now it's not my place to know. He will tell me when I'm ready. For now, I am just obeying Him and trusting in Him. He will care for me and I will do as He asked, no matter how difficult.

Please continue to keep me in your prayers. I will also keep you all in mine.

Here's a thought that comforts me in times of peril. The Lord has promised that He will not test us beyond or ability to deal with it. Everything that happens if for His glory. Always remember that God is in control always and He will take care of His children.

Hey AD, and All, I'm also back after a tiny unwanted break. I missed the place just as much. I tell you, watching the MSM made me realize how brainwashed most of the population is.

Without a computer at hand and watching a lot of TV, the common man would be led to believe that everything is just FINE with the world right now, nobody cares about Iraq, the mess of a country that it has become, it was rather enlightening.

AD congrats on quitting your bad habits, I must admit I'm still a smoker but i've quit drinking also, good job.

There is a saying relative to yours that comes to mind, "If God brought you to it, he will see you through it".

I've been trying to catch up the best I can but I seem to be missing an important piece of info, there was a Zawhari speech broadcast on the 27th? Could someone be so kind as to paste me the text from that in a private post perhaps? I would greatly appreciate it.

U.S. Readies Aggressive Counterintelligence Plan

(snip) COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Reuters) - The Bush administration has adopted a new counterintelligence strategy that calls for pre-emptive action against foreign intelligence services viewed as threats to U.S. national security, officials said on Saturday.

The first national U.S. counterintelligence strategy, which President Bush approved on March 1, aims to combat intelligence services from countries hungry for U.S. military and nuclear secrets, such as China and Iran, both at home and abroad, counterintelligence officials said.

Officials at a counterintelligence conference at Texas A&M University described the strategy as an extension of the post-Sept. 11 foreign policy initiative known as the Bush doctrine, which calls for pre-emptive action against nations and extremist groups perceived as threats to the United States.

Plane Attendant Pleads Guilty to Bomb Note

(snip) NASHVILLE, Tenn. - An off-duty flight attendant accused of leaving a bomb note on an airplane has pleaded guilty to intentionally interfering with a flight crew, federal prosecutors said Friday.

Wilson was traveling on an American Airlines flight with 129 passengers from Dallas to Boston when, in Nashville airspace, she went to the bathroom and claimed she found a bomb note, authorities said.

Three charged with plotting to fund terrorism in Britain

(snip) LONDON, March 5 (Xinhuanet) -- British police on Saturday charged three people arrested earlier this week with plotting to fund terrorism.

The three suspects, two men and one women, who were arrested under anti-terror law in Coventry, central England, were all charged with conspiracy to provide money and other property for aiding terrorist activities, the police said.
