I'm just getting up too. Went back and saw those fab pictures on the last page. Looks good from what I've seen. Fox seems enthused. Switched over to CNN and they were talking about M. Jackson(?!).
Is Geraldo still standing?

Good old Julian on Fox wants to know if there is any chance they will extend the voting hours and hold the polls open.
I guess he thinks they are operating under St. Louis rules.

Good evening/morning.
What does it feel like to be a part of such an historic event, Freeperette Reporter?
You should be on w/FNC reporting this stuff.

I haven't seen him in a while. He was pretty enthused and giddy.
They prolly sent him to bed.

That still makes less than 25 civilians, cops & national guardsmen... not counting the terrorists. Not a high casualty ratio for the terrorist insurgents/jihadis today. And there are only two hours left to ratchet up the body count.

From the MSM perspective there are two big problems. Too many Iraqis voting and too few terrorist attacks.

I agree I just said the new official number just as a news fact. I think the Iraqi's are doing a great job w/ security.

Silly liberals.
Saddam has WMD, but we shouldn't invade because Saddam is in a box due to the sanctions, which should be lifted because they are killing children.
We've been stuck in a sandstorm for three days. It's a quagmire. We haven't found Saddam. It's a quagmire. We've taken less casualties in two years in Iraq then we did in a single day at Normandy. It's a quagmire. We need more troops. We need to set an exit strategy and pull out immediately. It's a quagmire. We need to have elections as soon as possible. We should delay the elections. It's a quagmire.
Seriously, the next time Ted Kennedy bloviates the phrase "Iraq is George Bush's Vietnam", I'd like for some Iraqi expatriate with blue ink on her index finger to stand up and say "Chappaquiddick was your Vietnam. Now sit down and STFU".
Ambassador Ginsberg on FNC, "The President will be visiting Europe soon to reengage the Atlantic alliance. A sort of listening tour"
I prefer to think of it as a "victory lap", but that's just me.

Click over to CNN... they're doing everything but playing a funeral dirge.

LOL! He's under the delusion Iraqi judges are appointed by Democrats. The curfew begins at 7:00 PM so there's no chance of an extension. Every one who could vote will have voted by then and those who haven't are simply out of luck.

I guess he thinks they are operating under St. Louis rules.LOL. Good morning, Miss Marple. They did not get away with that this year, and the guys across the river in East St. Louis are under arrest. If we can keep fraud to a minimum we will see far fewer dems elected.
To: goldstategop
The Iraqi cops and the US troops have done a great job.
Fox reports 800+ people in line to vote in Falluja of all places.
