It is now 3 am in Iraq the polls will be opening in the next few hours as the world watches and hold's it breath. Iraq is about to undertake a historic vote.
Lets wish them well....... please post all comments and election photos to this thread.
did you hear geraldo say there are 7000 candidates?
Please...we had a US Senators amd Represenatives stop the certification of a national election to debate why (dimm) voters had to WAIT IN THE RAIN!
Let's hope it holds. Let's hope the crowds grow, the bombs stop and the insurgents and Western Leftwing media get humiliated today.
January 30 2005 a day that will go down as the time when freedom was brought to the middle east.I hope freedom will spread.
Unfreakingbelievable. A FED EX plane has just flown in 15,000 votes from dead people in Cook County.
X marks my spot.....
Good night everyone.
God bless and protect our military and the Iraqi citizens who are exercising their freedom!!
OMG I just saw that loser Anderson Cooper OH BOY you could tell that he wouldn't want be in Iraq this Sunday moring or Saturday night
He wasn't amused
get over it yourself Anderson you loser your ratings sucks
I see just certain part of Frisco
Absolutely. I am really moved by the scenes of women walking in groups of two and three to the polling place. It's just truly amazing, one after another said it couldn't be done. One after another blasted Condi, blasted Rumsfeld, blasted Bush...some say they didn't fight back. Well, today they deliver their punch.
That's OK, they will be overwhelmed with good news!!!
There are 50 million Iraqi? I hear all sorts of numbers.
He's got to be absolutely beamimg and praising the Lord! And I wouldn't be surprised at all if he sneaks a few peeks at the tube in the middle of the night tonight .. it's an incomparably historic day .. for the whole world, really.
God Bless the USA and George W. Bush, and God Bless our brave troops and the courageous Iraqis, and their loved ones, who have suffered and sacrificed so this day .. and a hopeful future .. can happen.
Wasn't it like ten years?
Man. Just...MAN! I can't believe how excited I am by this, I never expected this reaction.
You're right. These Lefties who are trying to set the bar so high, can't vote in peaceful America. What losers!! The Iraqis are risking their lives to vote and they don't bitch as much as the loser Rats in America.
ha!
Denny Crane: "I want two things. First God and then Fox News."
Oh, nevermind.
Allawi voting!
What is good news for America or Iraq, is bad news for Democrats. Ted Kennedy spent the last 2 weeks trying to undermine everything that is taking place at this very moment in Iraq. Al-Jazeera had been playing his speeches all day on Friday.
turn out is getting heavier....CNN has live pics and places outside of baghdad have long lines.......guards all around, many people in line singing and clapping, more subdued in Baghdad but getting heavier now....Geraldo is delerious with glee and emotion and totally beside himself...CNN is postive though the British are so stoic it is like watching Benny Hill taking an enema......but still not negative. It is goin great
LOL! "One day at a tiiiiiime...." ick!
