re: pic @ 681 --> Oh, WOW! that's powerful. Thanks for sharing it.
P.S. second thought that popped into my head --> I hope he got taken care of in time to go back and make his vote count.
Often I have a desire to leave, and since I can't afford to build a spacecraft, I figured the next best thing was to visually leave, so I decided to build a small optical astronomical observatory and take images/photos of the universe. Some are posted below.
This is who you are dealing with. This is from his profile page...nuffsaid

Me too, I hope the officials would have given him a ballot in the hospital. I'm sure there are others there that couldn't make it to the polling places so I bet the military would have made other arrangements for them. God bless him and all those that sacrificed in the name of freedom.
Thanks for the response.
I did a search, too, when I saw your post address. I suppose one has to be registered here for the name to show up in an address.
strange choice of suburbs considering religious differences and allThere's a big mix of people in Skokie, although it's best known for it's large Jewish population. The Skokie site was in the Assyrian Cultural Center. It's near two I-94 exits, so convenience figured in, I guess.
But then again, during the Jewish High Holidays, usually there is a Skokie PD car in front of each synagogue. So the local law enforcement is experienced in this sort of thing.
Still going on, that migration you to Buffalo Grove. It's believe that Skokie is about 1/3 Jewish. It's believed 25 years ago, Jews were half the population.
Glad to see you back. VIVA CUBA LIBRE!

Thank you so much for the ping..these pictures are absolutely beautiful. I can't imagine what it feels like to be so overwelmed with joy to vote..we take so much for granted in this country.
