I left Long Grove in the early 80's and headed south. The thing I remember about Skokie is that the older Jewish folks stayed there, and the younger yuppies moved out to Buffallo Grove/Vermon Hills etc. That's been a long time ago.

Still going on, that migration you to Buffalo Grove. It's believe that Skokie is about 1/3 Jewish. It's believed 25 years ago, Jews were half the population.
