Earlier today I was praying that God would send a legion of angels to protect the Iraqis when they go to vote, and then I realized that he already has. They are wearing the uniform of the US Military. Oh dear, that brought more tears. Wonderful thought.

At least I'm not the only one reduced to slush - the little 70 yr old man was the one who got to me.

Notice they aren't bitching about their "rights" being abused.

One of the best pings EVER.
Fabulous and wonderful.

If the insurgents/terrorists keep trying to snuff out liberty in Iraq, then let's pick a town of insurgents/terrorists in the Sunni Triangle, surround it and let the women and children out, level it in detail, then spray it with pig's blood and salt it -- and ask "who's next against Democracy?"

They ought to drag Saddam Hussein out to the largest voting site in Baghdad and chain him out front for all to see. Not only will it humiliate him and inspire Iraqis wishing for freedom, but it might also deter any evil cowards plotting to attack that location.

Who cares about the expatriots? Apparently every other person on this thread. But not bitter ol' pessimist Dave S.

This picture at #12 made me cry with that beautiful old man.
May the Lord bless them all, and keep them safe.

Paused at Tim Russet a few minutes ago. Guest,(guy from Council of Foreign Relations...Let's cut a Deal diplomacy) very bitter eyes, grim, but trying to sound reasonable talking about 1400 deaths not worth it, American people would never agree to do this, deception, etc., etc., etc.
Then Russet, no Wmd's, distortions, lies, illegitimate, etc., etc., etc.
Then aging blonde looking very haggard, wmd, distortion, American people against war.
Russert, gleeful, Iraq future bleak, Suniis, Suniis, Iraqis won't defend government, wmds, new poll showing Americans overwhelmingly oppose war, Bush, Republicans, freedom in Iraq.
They never rest. b.

What an expression on their faces. So proud that they voted. Just amazing. This is the silent majority. Wonder what the MSM will say. The sneering left will sneer, as usual. But they are sensing that their time is over.

Gal on newsdesk on CNN is about as bad. She can't seem to bring herself to say that Iraqis voting is a good thing.
