2 dead 16 injured, as per Fox news
Good Job boys!
Guess we can't hope it has "Iran" written on the side...
Fox just reported that the 3 are already being questioned. Get out the panties!! Maybe there's a chance of this leading to Zarqawi yet.
The 3 men who fired the rocket which killed 2 Americans in the green zone have been captured. They followed them to a residence and arrested them. Good news.
Apoligies accepted!
Didn't you hear the one general state that the assault on Fallujah "broke the back of the insurgency." Don't you see post after post on this site from Centcom about insurgents killed and arrested.
I haven't seen things like body counts and statements that the insurgency was just about broken in about 35 years.
The terrorists don't realize Baghdad is the most watched city in the world right now. I bet there are several Predators over the city as I type and will be as the Iraqis go to the polls.
What a quick capture of these 3 terrorists. Ps: Let that be a lesson for other thugs who would fire rockets at the green zone or disrupt the election tomorrow.
It blows my mind to read such borderline traitorous and ignorant remarks by so-called conservatives on this site. That remark by Paul544 really sent me over the edge!
We aren't in a defensive posture AT ALL.
You only assume so because the media isn't handing you the facts. However, CSPAN often shows briefings from the Defense Dept., and from Commanders in country, which I watch. They also issue press releases which are often posted here by ragtimecowgirl and others.
We are forward leaning every minute of every day. The most extensive operation involved our re-establishing a semblance of security in Mosul, and that got some publicity. But we are doing it countrywide, in every sector. We kill many, we capture many and hold for interrogation to get intel, and we are deep in Zarqawi's terror network as well as the Ba'athists. We take out weapons caches 24/7. (Don't expect these diffuse operations to resemble the massive assault on Fallujah where the enemy had massed and dug in over the very large town.)
Also, ours and Iraqi snipers are doing the Lord's work, every day, over and over and over and over and over...
If I know this, you can know this. But it takes some doing, as you will not get this picture while waiting for the media to spoon feed it.
Apoligies = Apologies
Sorry.
I doubt it. You're obviously unaware that the after the initial butt whupping administered by Israeli forces the Arabs RAN.
Nowhere in the so-called Arab world is individual initiative rewarded. In fact, say ANYTHING which might be construed by the teacher as upstaging the teacher and bad things tend to happen to you or your family. The same principal applies to freedom of thought, which is necessary for creative thinking, which in turn is necessary for problem solving skills is viciously put down (it means clerical brainwashing didn't take)
Therefore, in areas requiring creativity and problem solving skills Arabs have traditionally sucked toadstools. This is why they don't invent anything, their art is non-existant and their foot soldiers break and run at the first sign of trouble.
"CBS news is reporting..."
Oh,really?
If CBS knows it and we know it, our people know it too. That helps. Chill. This is a war.
LOL
You are so right. Now, let's see, in what war did Teddy serve....? Oh, thats right, he seems to have managed to avoid military service. No wonder he is such an expert about all things related to war and warfare. What a bag of wind!
And they should immediately be summarily executed and have their heads placed on pikes in a well traveled intersection.
Yep.
Fox News has an exclusive interview about the elections coming up with Prime Minister Allawi. It's being conducted by Geraldo R, but, in spite of that, it should be worth watching at this historic time.
Spent 5-10 minutes looking through bookmarks for it, then Googled it on the first try.

Well worth the read, for those of you who haven't.
I have this hunch ...Zarqawi will be caught before tomorrow.
