If you work in South Texas long enough and gain the trust of some in the Mexican communities, you hear rumors of connections in drugs and terrorism.
I don't want to take it any further than that.
I would never divulge my sources, and I can't back it up without doing that.

I read quite a bit about El Salvador and Honduras being two hot spots for terrorists possibly joining forces with the druglords and MS-13 gangs. Is that where these guys are coming from, or are they homegrown in Mexico?

I understand that we now have Forward Operating Locations (FOL's) for our military in El Salvador. Somethings up there...
