I'll say it again: I think smoking is an obnoxious, stinky habit that is engaged in by the none too bright. But, you should be free to do it - without the burden of excessive taxes intended to modify behavior - until you keel over if you like. You argue like a woman, so I'm assuming you are.
If you, as stated, don't think that we should be excessively burdened with taxes, then we're in agreement.
So why do you rear your head on these smoking-related posts with your obnoxious, stinky, none-too-bright-posts other than to make obnoxious, stinky, none-too-bright "points"?
I'm all for your keeling over when you like also.
There's diversity for you.

Now, dadgummit! I'm trying to have a serious flame war here!
How can I do that and laugh?

The reason is that I feel the need, call it a character flaw if you like, to represent my opinion on these threads that cigarette smoke is obnoxious to non-smokers. Regardless of how I couch that comment within three or four posts somebody gets upset and calls me a name (Nazi is a popular one) or accuses of me trying to end smoking in this country. So, I go ahead and further state that I believe being a smoker represents some sort of deficiency.
Honestly, find any first post, or two, that I have made on any of these threads that was the least bit confrontational. I only become rude in defense. If you smokers don't want to hear somebody's opinion that smoking stinks, take your posts to a smokers' chat room or place a notice in the title that the thread is a smokers only circle jerk.
As long as smokers keep posting these articles I will continue to pop in an express my opinion that smoking is gross and often obnoxious to non-smokers. If all of you are that sick of my opinion, don't answer my posts.
