From Yesterdays Christian-news-in-maine.com

We are sorry to report that it has now been confirmed that 37 Members of our military were killed yesterday in Iraq. 1 Navy Corpsman, 2 Soldiers and 34 US Marines. We will not do as the others are doing, but will hold off till the Defense Department has their news conference to comment any further. Please pray for the families. And may God deal with those members of the body politic and press in the USA who have given aid and comfort to the enemy, which in our opinion, is a major cause of these deaths.

I note that the majority of those against Iraq were also against Afghanistan. It has little to do with Iraq and more to do with an evil ideology - that America is ALWAYS wrong and peace can be made with irrational dictators.

I remember many in Hollywood who were against taking out the Taliban - they suggested economic sanctions. Against what? Give us the Taliban or we stop buying goat skin hats? Have they seen Afghanistan? It doesn't have an economy to sanction.

That's true - and FDR was so mad - he recalled him. Kennedy was Ambassador - and FDR took the position away from him over those statements!

While I didn't agree with alot of FDR's policies, he was pretty straight forward about right and wrong and national security. There are no dems in leadership positions who feel the same way as FDR. And .. if any of today's dems had ever read FDR's prayer at his Inauguration - they would think Bush was a heathen.
