Any criminal matters should not be a matter of Republican decisions, but rather those of career Justice Dept prosecutors. You must be assuming a conviction and subsequent impeachment from the Senate.
That path is far too speculative and premature at this point. Assume she is not charged with any crime as is the case today.

Well, that too. But mostly the fact that the democrats get screeching time when a republican does wrong, but the republicans are quiet as a mouse when a democrat does. Or at least it seems that way to me.
