There's nothing wrong with being straight. They were born that way and they just want to celebrate Heterosexuality. </sarcasm>

Members of the Gay Alliance for Tolerance and Equality say they consider the College Republican's celebration an attack on gay and lesbian students.LOL. At least it exposes the GATE as having no sense of humor whatsoever.

So any city that has a "Gay Pride" parade is "attacking" heterosexuals?

Some months ago, a radio station in my area held a "Straight Pride Parade." The gay activists in my class went absolutely nuts. Apparently straight individuals are not aloud to be proud of their heterosexuality.

There is a survey on the linked site. As of now the results are:
Which is the closest to how you feel about the College Republicans' "Straight Pride Week" Celebrations?
Good for them 2538 56%
They are being discriminating 238 5%
I don't mind it because it 758 17%
just makes them look bad
Neither "Gay Pride Week" nor 1003 22%
"Straight Pride Week" should
be observed

This week kicks off the central Ohio "Regular Guy Pride Week" here in Columbus.
That's right!
We're going to be meeting each evening at Hooters on Rt. 161 in the North end.
We're planning excursions to Dockside Dolls and Humidor Plus as well as some possible trips to White Castle and Waffle House.
It should be a fun week
Tell your boss you have the flu and join us for some "No' Ma'am" style fun!

Members of the Gay Alliance for Tolerance and Equality say they consider the College Republican's celebration an attack on gay and lesbian students. What's the matter? Can't celebrate "diversity"? Can't embrace the "lifestyle choice" of others? Why are you so heterophobic?

"What is there to say about it, 'I'm proud, and I'm straight and I guess white,' I don't know?" said GATE member Jennifer Rodriguez. "I think they definitely are being discriminatory because there's probably a lot of gay Republicans out there."
If anybody can find any kernal of coherence in this statement, please offer a translation.

I suppose there are a few straight DemocRATS out there, too.
So they must be discriminatory?
I really do believe that liberals have a screw loose, if you'll pardon the expression. After all, I wouldn't want to be accused of being discriminatory against screws.

Hehe funny stuff. I'm sure the overly sensitive libs will be up in arms that a majority group would have the audacity to have a sense of humor and celebrate anything.
If gays can celebrate their sexuality in public why on earth can't straights?
