This is definitely not a good thing. Zapatero's appeasement tactics and chumminess with AQ does not bode well for either SA or US-South American relations.
Breaking News: It's us against the world, with only a few exceptions. (Australia and Japan.) Amazing how Japan - the only nation nuked in war by us - has turned into our best and most trustworthy friend. Bar none. Not only in military and diplomatic circles, but also economically. They have earned the title of "Ally". No other nation deserves that title besides Australia, who has been there at our side through thick and thin, without a whimper or whine.
We might as well come to terms with the fact that every other nation - in one way or another - is our enemy. Britain, Israel, all of them. Just look at their deeds, not their words. Israel is China's #2 arms supplier. Britain is leading the push to lift the EU arms embargo from China, and they lifted the embargo on Cuba. Tony Blair is a trojan horse for the EU inside the US - nothing more than that - and everyone thinks he's such a good friend. Bull. Mexico, Canada? Don't make me laugh. India? Maybe in the future. Taiwan? Nope, they're merely a stage prop for the mainland, in order to get military and industrial technology from us through the back door.
I just hope we've kept enough nukes to obliterate them all when the time comes.
