Bill O'Reilly named himself "The Most Ridiculous Item of the Day" on last night's Factor.
"FOX News host Bill O'Reilly denied calling Senator Barbara Boxer (D-CA) a 'nut' and promised to play a clip on the air to verify his denial. In fact, he did indeed call Boxer a 'nut' on his January 19 radio program," Media Matters explained.
On the Jan. 25th Factor, St. Louis Post-Dispatch columnist challenged O'Reilly's use of the words "idiot" and "nut" to describe people:
BROWN: You did it last week. You did it last week on -- with Barbara Boxer. You called her a "nut." You called the voters who voted for her "loony." Is that not true?
O'REILLY: That's not true. I mean, what I do is I say, "there are loony left-wing people" or "this is nuts," but I never say "She's a nut" or "This person is a loon."
Brown was right. On Jan. 19th, O'Reilly said the following about Boxer on his radio show: "this is a nut. All right? This is a nut we got in the Senate."
"Now I denied doing that, and I didn't on television. But on the radio -- uh oh -- I forgot that I indeed did apply that word to Senator Boxer, while analyzing her strategy, or lack thereof, to fight terrorism. So Brown was right and I was wrong," O'Reilly said.

She's not a nut, she's a jackass(no disrespect to jackasses LOL) And unless we can figure out a way of getting rid of her, we're going to have to put up with her moronic views for six more years!!!
and btw NO PICTURES, PLEASE!!!
How many folks go on and say "I was wrong. I did, in fact, do (something) though I said I hadn't." Certainly not Dan Rather, or Kewpie Couric, or anyone at CNN, or MSNBC....
He definitely does need some respect for that! He did exactly what Dan Rather should do but is too coward. For that...he does deserve some props.
I've often remarked on the similarities myself: both are libs who make conservative noises to pretend to be what they are not. Both love to be the center of attention. Each one thinks he's the smartest person in any room. Oh, yeah, and they're both degenerate pervs.
I'd respect BO more if he'd have said something a bit more appropriate...maybe something like:
"Boxer is an idiot b!tch with her head up her ass".
Then again, I sometimes don't have much tact.
No different from the errata section in any newspaper or magazine. It was the proper thing to do, but not exactly a "Profile in Courage".
" If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple." Luke 14:26
What is there to apologize for SHE IS
Democrats call GOP names all the name
"This comment is absolutely laughable."
Ok, I was too easy. He's not to the right of Clinton.
O'Reilly is really insulting. Nuts should be very upset.
Wow! Now that is news!
so....the denial(memo)is fraudulant, but the label (story) is true? ;^)
I Corinthians 13 :)
My favorite O'reilly moment was when he read the letter from Jack Mehoffer
At this point given the state of ethics in the media I'm ready to appaud even minimum appropriate behavior of any part of the media.
Looks like Jim Trafacant's former Washington barber is getting some business.
