Sad and true, isn't it? So now the banks, given the density of money transfers from illegals back to their homes in Mexico, are competing for their business...sort of. I guess they want their checking business, or the like, otherwise why would they give up transfer fees?? There has to be some method in the madness...and I mean madness...

As long as Business promotes the illegal invasion, and they do, our politicians will continue to sell us out.
The ONLY solution is to vote them out of office. Vote third party..someone who isn't yet owned by the Corporate Rulers. As long as the two parties are in power, all policy and legislation and enforcements will benefit corporate America.

Also, anyone having an account with those doing business with illegals should close it out and make sure you tell them why. They want illegal money, let them live on illegal money.

Great, here's another institution that treats illegals better than the legal American customer.

Hey, I have a need. Wanna meet that, Bank of America?

According to the United Nations, U.S. consumers sent $13.9 billion to Mexico in 2003 through remittances Nobody has noticed that sentence yet?
Huge red flags went up for me.
How is the UN involved in tracking money transfers?

Why do so many FReepers assume the remittance services of a real bank will only be used by illegal aliens? Not everyone who sends money back to Mexico is an illegal immigrant. According to the
2000 Census, there were approximately 3.87 million Mexican-born persons legally living in the United States in 2000. That's more people than live inside the boundaries of every U.S. city other than New York City, and more people than live in all but the 12 largest metropolitan areas. It's a substantial market any bank would be foolish not to try to tap.
Do we have any statistics on how many illegal aliens actually keep bank accounts? I'd suspect the number is small.

TAX TAX TAX these exchanges!!
No brainer--a tax that cannot hurt Americans or American business. The money is earned here, and leaves to be spent in Mexico. TAX it, and TAX it heavily. 10-20% sounds good for a start.

"Is the subject matter embarassing to folks around here?" I've got an idea. Why don't we just give them the whole d*mn country and they and the socialist RATs can have their little imaginary utopia. The conservatives can take over Mexico, throw out Fox and his bandits, and start over. It shouldn't be too hard since he is trying to export the whole d**n Mexican population to America. Of course, America might not look so attractive to them when the ones that are paying for all the freedies are gone.
