A bureaucratic blunder has left Wales off a map of Europe on the cover of a prestigious EU reference book. The Eurostat Statistical Compendium has all the facts and figures on Europe.
All EU member states, and the rest of Britain, are accurately represented on the cover - but Wales has disappeared and been replaced by the Irish Sea.
Tory leader Michael Howard said: "I was born and grew up in south Wales ... I know I've had my differences with Brussels, but I really do think that is going too far."

Wales, what's that?
Just kidding. Any country that has given us Catherine Zeta Jones can't be all that bad.

Technically, since Wales no longer exists, then you no longer exist, so you cannot vote.

I say that we start a "Save the Wales" campaign. Or has that already been done?

Galic and Welsh have to be the most difficult languages to pronounce that I can think of. At least in The Western World. Not to mention celtic.

Your screen name looks vaguely Welsh to me. :) By the way, my Dad's first name was Lloyd. Aren't those double consonants grand?

When I was in grade school (in the 70's) I remember studying maps of the Western Hemisphere from North America to South America that didn't have Cuba on them.
