Well, as P & G products are on boycott in this house, it looks like I'll have to find a more painful way to depliliate. :(
What for, for heaven's sake?
You're not an Amway distributor, are you?
Great! They will probably rename the home of the Patriots "Pampers Stadium."
Ten years ago I bought an antique razor based on King Camp Gillette's original design for $10.00. It's in the original case with a set of extra blades. Coincidentally my wife's father was the Western Canada Regional sales manager for Gillette during the 50's.
Wasn't Gillette in the tank not too long ago, until that chainsaw guy did his thing?
The Dolphins stadium was coined "PP Stadium" when Pro Player had the naming rights.
Do you mean "Chainsaw Al" Dunlap? The Sunbeam CEO?
Some old big names like Sears is being acquired, AT&T will probably be acquired, and now Gillette. At least they aren't being bought by Chinese companies ;-)
TWA, too, among other airlines.
That's him. Maybe I confused Sunbeam with Gillette, but for some reason I think he worked on Gillette as well.
P&G hasn't been welcome in my home for well over 10 years. As a company, they are heavy handed and lack respect for their employees. Their investigation of a Wall Street Journal reporter using the city police to get her phone records, illegally, was the last straw.
One of the financial talking heads on CNBC just came up with "The Mr. Clean Bowl."
The training, the payscale, the promotion pace, supporting staff quality and the work environment was all first class...and far fairer than anything I've experienced since.
Personally, I thought it was a helluva company.
