Ask the Americans to leave so that the Sunni thugs can subjugate and slaughter the Shiites and the Kurds again.

Don't the Shiites vastly outnumber the Sunnis? If they ally with the Kurds they should be able to deal with the Sunnis.

Yes, they outnumber the Sunnis just as the beef cattle outnumber the humans at a slaughterhouse.

Saddam's Sunni thugs made up 20% of the population but had the weapons and military training to rule the other 80% as if they were beef cattle.

Right now, the Kurds and the Shiites are not yet at the point of being able to take on the Sunni thugs militarily. They have neither the training nor the vast supply of stashed weapons that the Sunnis have.

With American military help, however, there will be fewer and fewer Sunni thugs still alive with each passing day and more and more trained Kurds and Shiites able to take them on militarily.

Once the "tipping point" is reached, the Sunnis will be history as a dominant force in Iraq.

Even then, however, the Kurds and Shiites would still have to deal with troublemaking from Sunni-majority Syria.

While not news, should the Revolutionary Party win - and they could - being asked to leave and the process of departing will open-up the middle-east like a scalpel going through butter. Tactically and strategically it would be best that could happen.

One thing would be sure, the Muzzies would get their reform 'from the inside.' But it'll be one-hell-of-a-lot sooner then any imagined. If you think the Euro's are pissed now, they'll go livid on with an unexpected/quick pullout.

For those two reasons alone....it probably won't happen.

CyberAnt,

There was no need to post this in PUBLIC FORUM, but since you did I will REPLY in public forum.

Thanks david for your usual incoherent response!!

I responded to your orginial objection via FReepmail...

Your objection to my use of the words "NOT TRUE" in post#70 was clarified in POST #73...

the part of your post I stated was "not true" was...

....and if and when Iraq asked us to leave - we would leave.

There IS and ALWAYS HAS BEEN the policy that we WOULD NOT LEAVE IRAQ until the security situation is STABLE.... I further stated that the point was MOOT because the IRAQI people accept this, and so when the President says we will leave when asked, it is WITH that understanding PERIOD....

As to YOUR statement Thanks david for your usual incoherent response!! I forgive you my FRiend, even if you don't apologize...

FReegards,

David C. Osborne

We will be there for a while in some capacity. The regular Iraqi people and kids like us over there. I talked to a guy that went back to his regular job at Agilent who was there for 2 years. He said we kill 60X+ terrorists for every injury US forces incur. Other countries would rather have their scumbags get killed in Iraq than dealing with them at home. There is a welfare-state attitude in surrounding countries about their undesireables- send them to the firing range. This must be stopped.

And I heard dating an Iraqi woman must be approved by her family, who must be met first. Sort of like a good European Spanish or Italian family situation.

Who are themselves repressed by the Allawite minority B'aathists in Syria, and so may not be in such a good position to do any "foreign adventures"...

I respectfully disagree with you, I think its GREAT to have a ONE STOP terrorist SHOP over there, than deal with them here in Tallahassee.

We don't disagree at all. A big dumpster is more efficient than 20 or 30 garbage cans. But surrounding countries need to find a way to take care of their own trash.

There is another way also. Iraq can accept the trash from other countries for a "handling" fee based on a contract. Scumbags can be turned into mulch and fertilize the local desert. Drip irrigation can be used to grow crops, which will be sold back to those other countries. Deserts have minerals, but not enough carbonaceous fertilizer or water.

As usual .. your goal it to embarrass or ridicule those who question what you say. I'm sorry you felt compelled to chastise me publicly.

I still say .. the President says what he means and he means what he says.

"Realistically though - it won't happen for another few years."

I would add to this comment that I have an feeling that most of our troops will be in Iran within the next six months to a year and that a smaller contingent of specialists will continue to provide security to the leadership & oil resources while training the Iraqi army years to come.

That is simply an unfair characterization, I have no desire to embarass or ridicule anyone... It is simply incorrect to rephrase the President's statement to say, "We will leave if asked, even if the iraqi people can not provide adequate security.".. Which is what many folks are tyring to do... President Bush has been very consistent on the fact that WE WILL NOT LEAVE until their security situation is adequate... PERIOD..
