I live in the Quad Cities and I'm still a little shocked by all this. This happened a little too close to home. I received my GED through the same place they went to school (Blackhawk Outreach Center) and walked many times on Big Island where they stopped to move the body to the trunk. Big Island and Blackhawk State Park (where they dumped a portion of the body) are just off my daily drive to work.
I must've eaten lunch at that Taco Bell around 50 times throughout the year when it was still a Taco Bell/Pizza Hut combo restaurant. And I've sat in the same parking lot they killed her in eating my lunch while listening to Rush Limbaugh.
The restaurant kind of has three parking lots. One on each side for about 1 row of 10 cars, then a large one kind of offset in the back. The one in the back is where I ate and would be the more secluded I guess. Even though it's a second exit/entrance for the restaurant and in the middle of a neighborhood. All the lots would have been seen at all times by the busy lunch crowd going through the drive thru. Especially the two on each side of the restaurant. I just cant believe nobody seen these girls and guy brawling in a tiny Geo Metro (it's a miracle the car can haul 3 at once).
I wish I had the opportunity to be eating lunch there that day and realized the weight of the situation. I would've given that sorry excuse for a guy someone twice his size to play with, which would've really given his spoiled, depressed, melodramatic girlfriend something woeful to write about.

What are people saying in your community about it? According to the link I posted to you, Sarah Kolb reportedly had been making "hit lists" since fifth grade. Yet somewhere else I read some of her "peers" were saying she was the "nicest" person.
Do you know about the band ICP .. Insane Clown Posse? There's some discussion on that too on www.yourmom.com.

I second that...I grew up 2 blocks from Blackhawk State Park and have plenty of family still living on Big Island. I also ponder the occupants in the Taco Bell/Pizza Hut parking lot that day and have to believe that even being caught up in my own life entirely I would have noticed such a ruckus in that small car, although I'm definitely not big enough to have defended her myself my cell phone is always handy. My heart cries for Adriennes family and wonders where the hell Gregory and Kolbs families heads were to not see the violent tendencies in their own children. To not question any of the obvious signs that Kolb was showing to be troubled...but that's for a different post...
