I agree. A true testamanent to how our boats are designed and how our crews are trained. The Kursk lost its sonar dome and sank.

The Kursk lost more than the sonar dome. If we had a torpedo explode in one of our submarines it would have a similar fate.

the kursk had most of it's bow blown off.

comparing the san fransisco to the kursk is comparing a lightning bug to lightning.

the Kursk was ripped apart from the inside by a gangfire of its torp magazine. bit of a difference.
