God gave us a real winner in Condi Rice! She just has that glow about her.
We used to call that a " Classy Dame "
Dr. Rice is that and more. And I don't care what color her skin happens to be.

I can't wait for the day when the signs will simply say "Welcome Secretary Rice" and leave her race out of it.

She certainly has the qualifications, shared vision, and tough skin to handle the position.
I've been waiting for this day since it was announced she would be SOS. Goss is cleaning out the CIA, finally the State Department is going to be visited with the same cleaning crew.

And you know that how? Or is this just wishful thinking on your part? I like Condi, but I'm not going to get my hopes up until I start seeing stories like we did with Porter Goss and the CIA.
I would gladly support her for electoral office if she held to a truly conservative pro-life platform.
But she doesn't, so I won't.
Meanwhile, I pray for her and for her success in her new position of responsibility.
I think she did a fine job as NSA to the President, which gives me hope for the work she has ahead of her as SoS.
She'll be a very big improvement over Powell right out of the gate, I suspect.

Now that you mention it, though, what is her background on pro-life?
If Dr. Rice is as smart as I think she is about a third of these people will be getting pink slips.
