By some, but in the spirit of No name calling week"....
Think about it for a minute, without this as an issue, this group would cease to exist. They would lose the ability to raise money, and whatever they think they have in political power will be gone. There are many more important issues to deal with, some that will make a difference to the people in Georgia.

I like the current state flag of GA - it's a beauty, but I like excersing my right to vote on issues.....especially when elected officials promise.

deaconjim,
I sure hope you are not a deacon in any church I would ever go to. I would think that actually having a spine would be a minimal qualification for being a deacon. Although, come to think of it, you might make a great Unitarian deacon. They are not required to take a stand.
There is no issue more important, other than dead babies, than standing up to the PC gestapo. If you are ready to concede the fight to them, then so be it. I for one will never surrender to the South hating, PC goons.

I'm sorry deaconjim. My bad.
It's just when I see those confederate flags (and I'm born and raised in the South 47 years) I know that the majority of those who insist on waiving it are doing so in the wrong spirit (I've met many of them). I feel it gives us all a bad rap. It's not in my spirit to name call. I am truly sorry.
