When Barbara Boxer led the actions in the Senate related to the election count in Ohio, I sent her a short message telling her that I thought this was an exercise in futility and that it shows the Democratic Party is just a sore loser. I also stated that it was a waste of the money from the taxpayers.
Yesterday I got this reply from her but I have no idea how to reply or if it is worth doing it.
What do my fellow FReepers think?

Eat lots and lots of beans and you will be on your way to formulating the perfect reply to Senator Boxer.

I think she's giving credence to ghostly rumors that help raise funds from a small segment of the population that has more money than brains.

What do my fellow FReepers think? Bottom of the birdcage with her reply, don't waste any more time speaking into the vaccuum of her intellect.

You should wholeheartedly voice your support that she look into voter fraud, and then give her details on where to start: Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and the Washington state gubernatorial race.

Looks like a damned form letter to me. Probably drawn up to reply to all the people upset with her single-minded obstructionism and raw partisan attacks.

As long as she is asking all those questions, I'd ask her this one...."Why are all those alleged problems you speak of in precincts controlled by Democrats?"

Ask Boxer about her outrage over fraud in places like Milwaulkee where felons voted.

We have fought for social justice. We have fought for economic justice. We have fought for environmental justice. We have fought for criminal justice.
This is a usage of the word "justice" that I am not familiar with.

Why did voters in Ohio wait hours in the rain to vote? Why were voters at Kenyon College, for example, made to wait in line until nearly 4 a.m. to vote because there were only two machines for 1300 voters? The Constitution guarantees the right to vote.....it does NOT guarantee that you will/can exercise that right in 20 minutes or less.

Those of us on Social Security want equality and Justice. We request the same retirement package and 4% cost of living raises that each of our Congress person gets yearly.
We feel we deserve at least as much as you blow hards who waste our tax payer dollars while dividing our country. We also request you follow the law of the land by deducting a days pay from each Congress person who fails to show up for work.
We also ask for full disclosure on each Congress persons retirement package.
Sincerely,

Why not tell her that she would be more believable if she was "fighting" just as hard for the voters rights in Washington State. Tell her she would be more believable if she were "fighting" for voters rights in Wisconsin and Pennsylvania which were much closer than Ohio and BOTH have serious voting irregularities.
Tell her that cherry picking Ohio and ignoring these other problems proves she is not "fighting" for all voters rights, just Democratic voters rights in one state.
This proves she is doing it for publicity, for ego, and for the Democratic party, NOT for all American voters. Therefore her entire statement above is, well, a lie!
To: republican4ever
The problems she speaks of in "minority" areas are RUN and OPERATED by Demo-rats AND MINORITYS. I think she should be hounding her own people and not blaming the Repubs. As someone once said, "Stupid is as stupid does". It was the same in Florida in 2000. The problems were in Dem controlled districts with minorities running the show. There was and will continue to be voting irregularities as long as humans are involved.

Our democracy is the centerpiece of who we are as a nation.
This certainly explains her position on many things. I would suggest that she review our nations historical documents - to include our Constitution, then maybe she would understand what form of government we really do have.
A Republic.
I'm really not to sure it is even worthy of reply. Her head is in the sand, content with wining because they lost.
Regards,
GE
