Thanks for the ping. I posted the article on another board, as you must have seen.
Very good points you make.
Thank *you* for pointing out the article!
>playing God with a power we do not fully understand yet<
I don't think God approves of, or condones this nightmare.
Imagine a rat that can outthink you1

"Dude, this is so not cool!"
This is truely scarely staff. That they are doing. But I knew they would do this sooner or later. It seems every time the human race stays in one spot for to long, we start doing stupid things. If we where to spread onto the moon or Mars outpost. Then it would not be nearly as easy to distory us. But since we are on one rock as we are. We are in great trouble.
For one we need to spread out so we focuse on that in not this kind of stuff. In two it would not be nearly as easy to distory us.
Please some one get nasa on the freaking ball or some one.

Obviously this procedure has been done before.
This is... there are no words to describe the depravity.
Also, a lamentable Hollywood remake-of the same theme-starring Marlon Brando in one of his last roles not directly involving the advertisement of cheap, beef jerkey substitutes.
The Apocalyptic Beast?
"Get your stinking hands off me..!!!"
Which half...? Besides the sex life of male tom cat, lion ect. is boring. You have to fight off the other males, then wait patiently until the female presents her-self...then its only for a few seconds(thrust thrust suirt) until the female turns around and bites you, then you have to wait around for hours until the female is ovulating again for another 3 second romp in the hay!
I am very disturbed to hear people referring to any part of this as "human".
"Pigs with human blood", "Mice with human brains"
God made man. NOTHING that comes out of any of these experiments are ANY part human. Humans are only made when a Human sperm joins up with a Human egg.
"Human"-animal chimeras are extraordinarily unlikely. The complexities of DNA chemistry and physiology and the myriad of different systems that would have to be melded are mind-boggingly daunting. This sort of stuff always sounds plausible but, upon closer inspection, implausable. Can you "fuse" DNA from two similar or dissimilar species? Yes, to a degree. Will that give you a living, sentinent being? Highly improbable. Having said that this is even abominable to think of. Madness.
She almost cost bill clinton the presidency.
