You know, the likes of you must belong to one of the "Club of Queer Trades," a book of detective stories written by GK Chesterton. You must belong to the Club of people who disrupt a chat room by posing questions that seem just close to legitimate but that are in essence illogical or based on ignorance. For a while I took you seriously, and took seriously my determination to lead people to a deeper understanding of the truth regarding the Christian faith; and then I looked more closely, and I noted the spelling of "filique," and realized that I had been had.

Go to another thread, Satana.

True,.....my IQ now is far below 20/20......with many, many 'missing files'.....but, on the other hand....

.....I never really 'knew' very much about anything.....

......but,.....considering today's societies,....there really is not much to 'know'.....

.....except,........

Jesus is Eternal!

There NEVER was a time when Jesus-the SON was NOT!

My favorite quote from The Club of Queer Trades:

Basil smiled at me. "You didn't know," he said, "that I had a practical brother. This is Rupert Grant, Esquire, who can and does all there is to be done. Just as I was a failure at one thing, he is a success at everything. I remember him as a journalist, a house-agent, a naturalist, an inventor, a publisher, a schoolmaster, a--what are you now, Rupert?"

"I am and have been for some time," said Rupert, with some dignity, "a private detective, and there's my client."
