Yeah, I have to admit. Not bad. I see him finishing a decent third and setting himself up for a run at something else down the road.

At least spell the Loser's name right. Nice 0% showing in the latest poll. Shaftan must be pleased . . . unless he's otherwise occupied.

Not ONE candidate will address how they are going to cut the largest expenditure--education. I think the annual appropriation is $8 billion, with a B, and with almost 100 new schools going up in the "ABBOTT" districts, that expenditure will climb to over 10 billion PER Year!

Don't expect any of them to lower taxes unless they have a REAL PLAN to address this issue.

Whitman and the rest of pubbies worked againt Schundler, who would have begun to clean out the corruption.

At this point it's going to be a tough slog to get this state cleaned up. We have billions of dollars worth of debt.

Codey will borrow more to balance the budget and the Courts in their wisdom will again deem the debt INCOME.

Amen. I wasted a wee bit o' my life working for Bret in '01. It still bothers me he lost to that thing named Jimmy. Well, maybe Codey'll run and Bret can get a bloodied Dem. in the general. That's our only hope. I like Doug, but Gawd, is he ever DULL!!!!

Did you catch Doug's new radio add? I thought it was the dullest thing I have ever heard.

I picked up the word "THERE" 5 times in a 30 sec radio add.

Looks like he is getting milked for all he is worth. The best bet we have is not to elect a millionare to go up against another millionare. (Corzine will for sure win..)

But, hey, his past ads have demonstrated that:

(a) He's got a broom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(b) He doesn't watch CBS.

That'll solve ALL our problems in Sopranoland.

My advice: hire James Earl Jones or ANYONE who doesn't speak in Doug's POW-monotone ("I am a war criminal. I bomb babies for the imperialist running dog capitalist lackeys." -- "Corruption is there."). Yawn! Because it doesn't read too bad. “Fed Up”

Script for Forrester for Governor

January 27, 2005 - Producer: Greg Stevens - Length: 60 seconds

Announcer: New Jersey. Fed up with the terrible culture of corruption in our state government? Then listen to conservative businessman and Republican, Doug Forrester.

DF: This is Doug Forrester. What’s going on in New Jersey government right now is abusive, wrong and costing taxpayers millions.

The politicians in Trenton don’t get it. The Democrat acting governor appointed an inspector general who’s supposed to root out waste, fraud and abuse. Unbelievably, she said ‘I don’t know it’s there.’

A: That’s right, the Democrat’s appointee said, quote, ‘I don’t know that it’s there.’

DF: This is Doug Forrester. We can’t solve corruption unless we start with someone who knows its there. I have a message for the Democrats: Time’s up! Corruption is there and we’re going to clean it up.

As governor, I’ll have an independent, elected auditor who works for the people, not the politicians. We’ll root out the corruption eroding public trust and costing taxpayers millions.

A: To join Doug Forrester’s campaign go to www.doug.com.

Doug Forrester. Character. Courage. Conviction…For a Change.

I use to like Brett.. But I dont know why he didnt endorse anyone (Just Carroll) during the statewide elections. I dont feel Schundler is the leader he once was or presumed to be. When we pick a governor in the primary we are also picking a leader of the Republican Party in this State. I strongly feel Brett is no longer that person. Sad to say. (Plus he can not beat Corzine)

As for Forrester.. I think he should of stayed where was.. A money guy for the NJ GOP. He raised some money for this party and he was good at it. (not Corzine kind of money) I just dont see him as that leader either.

You may disagree with me but we are barking at the wrong tree right now. I think it is time for us to find someone for the future of this party.

Saw Murphy on TV last evening. He is a candidate who should be seen and not heard.
