??? Huh? "International" "Law"? Excuse me, this is a sovereign country. Mexico needs to get a clue, and GW Bush needs to give them one. Soon.

In terms of international tribunals:

They can make their decisions, and then let them enforce them.

...educate even our own Mexican-Americans...

This clown needs to be educated that the people he is referring to are OUR Mexican-Americans.

I voted for Prop 200 knowing all the while it would be tied up in court for years. Didn't realize the opponents would try to have some international tribunal get involved.

Fine, Luis. We'll just round 'em up and ship 'em back to you so Mexicans can pay for Mexican welfare.

these othe countries and their pathetic fascists minds just don't get AMERICA. We can always just shut off the spigot at the Hoover Dam. Or better yet I think a nice GIANT canal runing along the border sounds good.

AND JUST HOW DID THEY THINK THEY WOULD ENFORCE SUCH A RULING.

requires proof of citizenship to vote

Exactly how could this be a contentious issue in even the most vacuous of minds?

"a measure that could generate actions of discrimination based on ethnic profile."

If Mexico's "Foreign Department" is taking the position that all people of a certain ethnic group are criminals I will have to disagree with them. This discrimination is clearly directed toward people who are violating US law. Shouldn't we discriminate against lawbreakers?

Screw Mexico!!!

Man, I have had enough of this third world, trash heap of a country sending their refuse, their criminals, their problems up here and our government letting them do it!!

I have Mexican-American friends that feel the same way.

Stop this crap now or there will be some serious problems down the road. I for one will defend my family, my land and my country!!

The voters voted, and now Mexico wants to have some magical international body impose itself against the will of the voters in this country?

I don't even know what to say about that, but I do feel a sudden urge to go to the gun range and practice, practice, practice.

At first glance, one would ask why Mexico City or any other Latin capital cares about illegal alien laws in another country. The reason is economics. These nationals sneek into America, find a job (even ones that pay under the table) and then send American dollars back home. The tremendous flow of cash south actually plays a significant role in proping up Latin American economies. If the economy is steady, then the masses are happy and the educated elite (which comprises no more than 10% of the population) retains its stranglehold on power.

[Mexican Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez] said..."We are seeking all the legal opportunities that exist [to screw the U.S.], first using the legal capacities of the United States itself and ... if that does not work, bringing it to international tribunals"...

And if THAT doesn't, work, Derbez advocates invading the U.S. outright while ignoring the severely undermanned BP agent stationed along the 1000 mile border...

Nevermind, THAT plan has already been implimented.

Keep it up, Mexico. The more you show your arrogance, the more ticked off Americans will be, and the less inclined to tolerate the illegal refuse and criminals that you continually shove off on us.

"Mexico may turn to international courts in an effort to block a new Arizona law limiting services to illegal immigrants, Foreign Secretary Luis Ernesto Derbez said Wednesday."

Nice way to make friends and influence people. Does Mexico want a war?
