If I were king, there would be no Iraq -- Kurdistan, Shite-Basra, and greater Bagdad. Keeping Iraq together makes no more sense than keeping Yugoslavia together. Message to the Turks: "Make my day."

Ditto to Sefarkas. Iraq is at least three countries (and the old Ottoman empire held it as three provinces). We need to stand with the Kurds - who are grateful, loyal, and tough. Since there are strong Kurdish minorities in Turkey, Syria, and Iran, a viable Kurdistan will cause those countries enough worries to keep them out of other mischief.
