WASHINGTON Just a few weeks into the new congressional session, many are beginning to wonder aloud: "What's up with Barbara Boxer?"
The first week of the session, the California Democrat led the Senate challenge over certifying the Ohio presidential vote, citing irregularities.
In the end, she stood alone against certification, with 74 of her colleagues including Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and 33 other Democrats favoring the count.
Last week, Boxer was all over Condoleezza Rice at her confirmation hearing to be President Bush's new secretary of state. Boxer all but called Rice a liar over her statements leading up to the war in Iraq as Bush's national security adviser.
Believe it or not, Condoleezza Rice was one of the names floated . . .
Thank Arno also who campaign for Bush in Ohio but
could not do so here in California probably because Maria would not let him......
Something is wrong with her face.
What do you mean "WHAT?!"...why in all hell would George W. come out here to be insulted and denigrated? This state is a lost cause, as the pendulum now hangs.
If we could split the state's coastal regions off from we inlanders, he'd have the reddest-of-the-red states once he got inland....but, alas, that ain't gonna happen.
Shows what happens when addicted to blue kool-aid. . .
that is the same damned thing or close to it....I read it and deleted it but it looks like the same crap. It hit on her points and didn't address mine which were not that she could question Rice but rather how she reflected on Calif with her inane, immature little tyraid of a speech. Did you get that email today also??????

California RECALL the BOXER!
Oh, I see now. You have a superiority complex because you don't live on the Coast. You seem to have a self-esteem problem also.
Let me bring you up to speed. When 'W' did attend a private fund-raiser at which we had not chance of seeing him, at least 250 patriotic Republicans rallied to welcome and support him in Santa Monica, thanks to FR activism. Yes, that's right. You missed the photos and the thread that were posted here last mid-August. The thought of Santa Monica probably disgusts you, but we would go anywhere to welcome our candidate. If the campaign had scheduled a public appearance here in southern California, coastal or not, the welcome would have been overwhelming. What part of "over 5 million votes" do you not understand. I don't know where you get your attitude. I have not seen the likes of this at FR.
Stupid is what she is.
Condi Rice for president in 2008. Go for the gold, get the best.
" That looks like the mother of all hot flashes, that does."
I believe Babs is 64, which puts her past menopause and into the realm of geriatric senility .
Alzheimer's perhaps .
Although maybe she still hasn't recovered from the mental image of thuggish Tony Rodham sleeping with her daughter, Nicole.
And producing a grandchild that shares the same genes with Baby Hughie Rodham.
And of course, Hillary and Chelsea.
This dog is not a boxer... it's a CHIHUAHUA.
My vote is for dementia. She is exhibiting confabulatory behavior. It is being facilitated by the institutional dementia of the Democrat party.
Yep. It was addressed to the missus (who is still registered as a Dem, but who is now a pro-life evangelical and soldier's mom... and not likely to ever vote for another 'rat if they keep up this crap).
"Most Californicators voted for her."
The only Republican US Senator I ever voted against was McCain (once). Look who the Republican Party ran against her? What do you expect?
