WASHINGTON Just a few weeks into the new congressional session, many are beginning to wonder aloud: "What's up with Barbara Boxer?"
The first week of the session, the California Democrat led the Senate challenge over certifying the Ohio presidential vote, citing irregularities.
In the end, she stood alone against certification, with 74 of her colleagues including Massachusetts Sen. Edward Kennedy, New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton and 33 other Democrats favoring the count.
Last week, Boxer was all over Condoleezza Rice at her confirmation hearing to be President Bush's new secretary of state. Boxer all but called Rice a liar over her statements leading up to the war in Iraq as Bush's national security adviser.
Babs is trying to position herself as the leader of the frothy left. While Hilary is trying to position herself as the leader of the moderate left.
Of course she has a mental problem. She's a liberal socialist pig.
Sorry for the double post.
Why would any of that happen. She just won a healthy victory. Most Californicators voted for her.
We can all than God every day we are not related to Barbara Boxer. Looking and listening to that shrew makes me really feel blessed we have a normal family. Seeing her on a holiday would be too much............yeeesh
"Do you mean Trafficante, from Ohio? She does kind of resemble his hair disaster."
Let's don't go impugning Jim Traficant (D, criminal, Ohio,).
It's annoyng....but it may be a rope-a-dope strategy..let them punch themselves out..the bad press only hurts them in the long run..
I know where your commin from, being related to that would be to much to handle.
I'm starting to believe that thesis that Babs and Hitlery are playing good cop, bad cop. Hillary will look absolutely moderate next to Babs the Bi***.........they are so easy to figure out. All you have to do is have a few drinks, lose some IQ points and hate everything and you become one
My take, as well. She is testing the waters.
An all female ticket in 2008? ...... not likely, but you never know.
And most Californians voted for Gray Davis...
but we recalled him now didn't we
Bruce Cain, head of the Institute for Government Studies at the University of California, Berkeley, said California Democrats have a tremendous appetite for what Boxer has to offer on the national stage.
"There are a lot of Democrats who think Ohio was a fraud," he said.
That may be, but she is very sick, IMHO. That alone takes her out of the target practice.
Who in the world is going to help that woman? I am reminded of the movie, "Network" every time I see her lately. Ms. Boxer's rantings and actions are being idolized by the deluded Left, so I doubt that they will stop her.
I looked very closely at that picture of Ms. Boxer crying at the press conference after she held up the electoral process. There is something very wrong with that poor woman.
Who would you have suggested?
I wonder how many think Wisconsin was a fraud?
