I found it pretty gripping. It's a case of not trying to do too much...but achieving everything you set out to do.

I would suggest that Lifetime for Women would have passed on the script as being too obvious. And, the film, while striving to make a statement, delivers a message of absolute moral relativism and utter selfishness. I don't doubt that there are folks within ten miles of where I'm sitting who have faced such dilemmas but I fail to see anything heroic (in any sense of that word) in Maria's choices.
