How? They certainly are not going to cut off their own pay. It would have been nice if the founding fathers had for seen this and put in more constitutional limitations on taxation. If either of you has an idea, lets hear it.
Logically they shouldn't make a dime if the government is running a deficit, but they won't see it that way. Politicians of both parties see their jobs as getting the biggest chunk of the federal pie for their own constituents as possible, in order to stay in power, so they can do the same thing next year.
They use our own money to buy votes so they can stay in power. They ought to be shot for treason, instead they get re-elected year after year.

A system with a real trust fund, a PERSONAL PRIVATE TRUST FUND, owned by the individual in his own name in a private institution, exactly like an IRA or Keogh plan, is the only way to finance a plan.
