Per U.S. Constitution, U.S. Senators cannot be recalled no matter which state they are from. The California Recall only applies to statewide officeholders.

Thank you, I knew that the matter of US Senators being subject to recall had been a matter of debate since the 1700's, but wasn't sure how it had been resolved in recent years. Good to know that Senators have continued to ensure themselves job security....

Still, I should think we could balance the negative spewing from DU in regards to his show, regardless of whether a recall is legal or not. It was his comments that spurred the letter writing campaign in the first place.

You're right. Congressmen/women, and Senators must be impeached. The house could impeach her, but, with the present makeup and demeanor of the U.S. Senate, obtaining 60 votes for conviction would be next to impossible. For sure Boxer needs an old fashioned spanking. Having her censored and rebuked would the first step.
