Excellent indeed! :)
I waited till later to register because I wasn't sure if I could get away from the office.

Where are you staying? As you see above, I'll be at the Washington Plaza.

I used hotwire, and my deal is almost as good as yours, not quite. I'm staying at the Hilton Garden Inn on 14th Street. It's a couple of blocks from where you are staying.

" Mrs Drango would file for divorce!"

"I was just in DC for the Inaugural and the Ball sans the husband, will be in divorce court for sure, if I leave again."

Drango, meet RepubMommy. RepubMommy, say hi to Drango.

Now both of you can come to CPAC and will have someone if your spouses do file for divorce. LOL

"You'll have to fill me in on this ;-0)."

Sorry, I can't do that now, here, FRiend. WHACPACSACPAC rules, you know.

However, show up next month and I can tell there. You just can't tell anyone here. ;-)

Tri-Staters: Check out the agenda for this thing and decide one of two things: (1) you are going, (2) you are no longer a conservative political junkie.

I have you ladies at the top of the massage list this year. The line forms to the right (of course). ;-)

Should I make an appointment now, Badray? ;-)

I am thinking second half of February might be better weather than it usually is for CPAC.

Has anyone decided on an "official" CPAC hotel bar meeting place for FReepers yet? I don't think there is a bar in the Ronald Reagan Center (I think there's a food court though).

Some FReepers I spoke to at the W2 Ball expressed concern about where we would meet for socializing/meals, etc. I don't know enough about the area to make any suggestions...

Hooray! See you there again! I'm arriving Tuedsday evening--attending a White House policy briefing Wed. afternoon.

We're attending that briefing also. Got a call from ACU a couple of hours ago and upgraded to the Diamond Package, which includes this event. Does this WH policy briefing sound cool or what?! We have to adjust our hotel reservation and travel plans... originally we were driving down from CT on Wednesday... will be Tuesday now.

Does anyone know how the Best Western - Arlington is? (hopefully not a dump) We found a pretty good rate there. I'd rather stay closer to the Ronald Reagan Center, but gotta go with the $$-saving option this time...

Great to hear you are attending the White House policy briefing too! Can't wait!!! I am staying at the JW Marriott. If you want, we can meet there, and walk over together.

Have you looked into the Harrington? It had some reasonable rates for the conference. Don't know if it is booked up yet.
