As a Pats fan and a Boston sports fan, I know the pain of losing.
I also know that winning goes a long way in healing that pain.
I will be rooting for the Pats mostly to halt the stupid debates about whether or not this Patriot era is a Dynasty (of course it is).
With that being said, the only team I would feel least badly about losing to is the Eagles, so if Donavan, Andy and Co. take Lombardi home to Philly, I will have no hard feelings.
I may even be happy for them.

As a Pats fan and a Boston sports fan, I know the pain of losing.PAIN?? You think you know PAIN??? Try being a Cleveland fan!! You've had many Celtics Championships, Bobby Orr, Patriots Super Bowls and even a Red Sox Title since our last win in 1964. The Cavaliers have never even made the NBA Finals, and we've been around since 1970. Yes, we made the World Serious twice in the Nineties -- then we became the first team in history to lose after leading going into the 9th inning of Game Seven.
You have no idea what real pain is.

I also want the Bush supporting QB to win.
Look during the Bush reign the Pats have been to 3 Superbowls and broke the curse of Babe. Boston should be thanking Bush.

As someone born and raised in the Philly area who spent four years of college in Boston, I'm delighted that my two favorite teams are in the Super Bowl. However, the Pats and Sox have given Boston enough to crow about for years to come. It's our turn this year.
We haven't won anything in Philly since 1983. The only team with a longer losing streak in Philly than our professional sports teams is the Republican party.
