SUMMARY: This bibliography examines 155 scholarly investigations: 126 empirical studies and 29 reviews and/or analyses, which demonstrate that women are as physically aggressive, or more aggressive, than men in their relationships with their spouses or male partners. The aggregate sample size in the reviewed studies exceeds 116,000.
Thanks for the link. I am glad that the word has been getting out, that men are not the sole perps of violence in the home. I'm not sure how it goes today, but there was a time when all a woman had to do was lift the phone and the husband was out on the street. I would hope that the perp of violence would be the one to have to leave the home to maintain peace, if that's what it took.
