After construction of a generator building (still standing) and a 180 foot broadcasting tower (dynamited in world war I on the dubious pretext of being a potential navigation reference for German U-boats), financial support for the project was suddenly withdrawn by J. P. Morgan when it became apparent that such a worldwide power project couldn't be metered and charged for.

All i know there has to be a consumer, cant have free stuff,well maybe on a good day at walmart where we get 2 for 1 deal. But that just reinforces Chicoms Military Industrial complex so not sure how 2 for 1 is free...

More anti-capitalist drivel. You can't meter the sunlight, wind, or earth; but you can make a profit leasing the equipment to utilize it.

Assuming, of course, that this scheme works in the first place!
