Sen. John Kerry searched for his new place in the political landscape as his rival took the oath of office for a second term as president.
Mr. Kerry emerged after a brief hibernation from the rough-and-tumble of politics to fire broadsides at Secretary of State-designate Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of Defense Donald H. Rumsfeld and to cast a vote that anchors the leftward lean of his Democratic Party.

He'll take on the leading role on West Wing. Just because he isn't President, doesn't mean he can't play one on TV!
Bitter Kerry...how difficult for him to look at himself in the mirror and see a loser every day. Kerry is already running for 2008...he does not have a prayer, especially in Howard Dean becomes DNC chief.
OPEN MIKE NIGHT AT THE IMPROV!
Kerry needs to go back to windsurfing, Its what he does best.
By the way when does the investigation into why he got a Senate paycheck and never showed up for work start?
I expect him to be as popular in 4 years as Algore is right now.

It's the AL GORE SHOW ! Sitting in for Al tonight:
John "the capitulator" sKerry!
A great idea. But typecasting might be even better. Kerry could play a presidential contender who loses, but gamely fights on. What a plot! Give him a rich as Croesus witch of a wife who drinks, (he chased rich women for years), add face lifts, botox, manicures, many, many mansions, wind surfing, cursing secret security, blue bunny suit, daughter in see through dress at Cannes film awards. There's so much to work with. Kerry's a virtual goldmine.

'The Massachusetts senator's prominent perch at the inauguration Thursday, just to the left of President Bush, underscores the difficulty of returning in the glare of Republican domination of Washington.
"It was very awkward," a Democratic aide said of the seat Mr. Kerry was assigned at the front edge of the inaugural balcony. "They wanted to embarrass him."
Mr. Kerry privately expressed discomfort about the location of his seat. He speculated that Republicans wanted to position him so television cameras could easily capture his reaction to Mr. Bush's speech.
YEAH, Baby!
John "180" Kerry
lol, he's screw up that too.
The only spotlight Kerry should be in is located in the smokey interrogation cubicle downtown Washington DC FBI.
Oh, yeah. They're not allowed to smoke in Federal Buildings any longer.
Kerry "emerged." He showed up for the work for the first time in 20 years.
What a differance 30ft. makes!!!
Then he told her she was qualified, before he voted AGAINST her.
Some things never change.
Besides constantly telling us what a 'HERO' he was, can anyone identify WHAT issues had been his passion for decades in the Senate?
