**people are embracing Islam by the thousands, jettisoning the Catholicism imposed upon their ancestors in Spain.**
This is so sad -- and should be a warning to all Catholics everywhere.

If Catholicism were New Testament Christianity and had been followed as the Bible teaches, Islam wouldn't have a prayer.

Iran News, "Mexico seeks greater ties with Iran mullahs"
Nov 19, 2004, 10:42
"Mexico is ready for expanding ties with Iran on all areas, notably in economy and trade, the deputy of Mexico's foreign ministry for economic affairs, Irma Avriana said on Friday.
"Speaking to the grand seminar on Irano-Mexican economic relations, Avriana said Iran was an important power in the Middle East and 'we believe expanding ties with Iran will be in the intersts of every country including Mexcio'.
"Also addressing the audience, the head of Iran's Chamber of Commerce, Alinaghi Khamoushi said Iran enjoyed an economic growth rate of 6.5, adding his chamber tried to strenghten trade bewteen the two countries." [End article]
As long as radical Islam courts the corrupt government of Mexico and there are millions of Mexican citizens living in a state of the U.S. that state is safe from WMD attack.
But what are the millions and millions of Mexican citizens (Fox's heroes) up to?

Saudi Wahabbis have spent millions of our petro dollars to spread Islam within the United States, so why wouldnt they spread a few dollars in Mexico? No surprise here.

This is just one more example why Islam should be treated like an infectious disease. It needs to be put in quarantine.
It spreads to the unwary, takes hold, and kills those whom it infects and often those they come in contact with. It is like anthrax; once it pollutes a region it buries itself in the soil and holds on practically forever as an infectious agent.

Islam is a mainly a death cult (in spite of its impressive archetecture). This is an ominous developement. The United States needs to get serious about border protection.

Oh brother!
It's so easy to get over the border and some aren't exactly friendly to the U.S. ... people who live near the border are harassed and forced to have guns for defenses and now they're converting to Islam - a recipe for disaster! We'll be surrounded ... Canada and Mexico ... I don't what to think about it ... .
Bush had better GET REAL, real soon on THIS issue. It's NOT a religion of peace or tolerance. The ones that are "tolerant" are the ones that hijacked their religion. With pressure they'll come around to the radical view, IF they want to keep living. Recall the murdered family in New Jersey ... . Eventually they'll want you to!

Aren't are a lot of these Muslim groups working with the M13 gangs in Mexico and elsewhere to get across the borders and to teach each other their languages and tactics?
There were 14,000 non-hispanics who crossed the Mexican Border into the USA last year.

How much of the "influence" is related to the heroin trade issue?
As in, Afghanistan and Mexico are providers of heroin...the "Islam" thing might just be cover or excuse or just rationalization for "increaed community among heroin suppliers."

I highly suspect that the association between Mexico and Islam goes even deeper. Google "Zimmerman Telegram" and just substitute some nations and dates.
