Here's the deal: For $10 -- and it's going to good causes -- you can paw over 12 pages of Stanford frosh revealed in bare flesh.
Or, you can have a first-ever raffled-off personal performance by the Stanford band, known for its inclination to do just about anything while musically marching. Completely clothed, of course.

Please don't tell me about these kinds of things. Stanford is one of my top choices for grad school and I'd rather you didn't hamper my delusions about her. :p

Simply another expression of the License that exists on most college campuses these days. This nudity is parading under the banner of charity as a rationale for what is otherwise licentious behavior. Sort of like some of the 3rd grade sex education programs offered under the guise of "Health Education" or exaltation of the Gay Lifestyle under the heading "Diversity Training". Geeeez!

Q: Why do they have artificial turf at Stanford stadium?
A: To keep the cheerleaders from eating the grass.

Moo.
I hope Chelsea Clinton doesn't return to pose for this. ;-)

Most of the people on this thread are assuming it's women posing for the calendar. This is California we're talking about. I'm sure it will be a Gay/Lesbian/Bisexual/Transgender calendar.

Does anyone think these will be available overseas? Do the people making this realize how anathema nudity is in a muslim world? Let's not even go into the GLBT stuff before I get really angry.

I'm all for college GIRLS taking their clothes off for a good cause (and even for a bad one). It's in the highest traditions of US education.

Simply another expression of the License that exists on most college campuses these daysIt's not just colleges, but society in general.
There was a thread on here about some elderly ladies posing topless in a church to raise money, and in my state there were dads posing in speedos for some school.
It's a very obnoxiously trendy thing right now.

Please don't tell me about these kinds of things. It's actually a very nice place to do your grad work. The undergrad politics are mostly an amusing sideshow.
