Thanks for making the trip. Sorry they didn't play the song. We are going to do that CD and someday it will be heard on Limbaugh.

I'm glad you had a good time at the W2 Ball Doug, despite being without sleep for so long. Many of us here in the DC Chapter know the feeling well, and feel your pain. We're all just now feeling almost caught up on weeks of lost sleep. The night went well for all involved, and for that we can thank God.

Come on, who else did I meet there? The evening is still almost surrealistic and I am too tired to remember. I wish I would have had more time in DC and more time to socialize.

Great write-up. So sorry to hear about your salmon run-in! But glad to hear about Gary Aldrich attending the Ball. He is one of my heros!

Thank you DFU for taking the time to give us this great report of your experiences there in DC. I must say that I am jealous :-)

Great job on the webcast Doug! Those at home were able to get a little taste of "The Ball"!

PS after the fish-bone incident Doug, you want to reconsider your no-meat policy: fillet mignon steak has
NO bones. :)
I had a medium rare fillet mignon steak last night!

Doug, you are too sweet! It was wonderful to finally meet you and I was happy to broadcast with you.
Glad you got home safe. Buried in a snowdrift here. Sigh.

I'm sure if you had succumbed, you would have gotten a full state FR funeral, complete with salmon-bone engraving on your tombstone.

Welcome back home to California, DFU.
Thanks for the live broadcast from the FReeper Ball. You did a terrific job and KD's accounts of the elevator ride was presented in a way that we were all in the elevator with her.
