Umm, got news for you, Putin was the ONLY international leader to trump for Bush. Sharon, Berlusconi, Blair, they all shut up and didn't say a word. Only Putin did.
I take it back, the guy is a Brit, not an American. A little better, but it could just as easly been written by a Blue Stater and I've heard similar crap on discussion forums on the news for the past 2 days.
And you'll never hear a word about it in the US MSM. Why? Because that would mean capitalism works and since they are all socialists and communist leftists they are all cheering for the communists and socialists in Russia, who lost the last elections big time.
I'm aware of that, but they did not think of the "fixed election" idea by themselves. They got the idea from the Democrats. The Democrats are undermining our world image as well as the world's confidence in the democratic system by spreading lies about the validity of American elections.
These people hate us, they just use Bush as a convenient proxy symbol.
Oh and Russia lecturing us about freedom and democracy? Drips, just DRIPS with irony.
When it was in his interests, yes he did. Did I deny it? I credited him for doing so at the time.
But I will not ignore his actions in Iraq, with Iran, with Syria, pronouncements of close relations with France nor interference with the Ukrainian elections. He can say as he likes, his actions are detailing a disturbing policy.
Now I have possited the theory Putin may be slightly different than the usual communist. He may infact be deeply concerned by terrorism, and this may be his most comfortable means of protecting his government. It may be this is what he knows, and he has justified these actions because of the seriousness of terrorism.
He's still wrong to behave in this manner. Pacifying terrorists and dictators is not the long term solution, it consistently proves to fail. We learned this lesson. Ripping freedom from his people in the name of security, directly interfering in a free peoples election, this results in what he is trying to defend against. He becomes his enemy.
The jury is out on Putin's intentions. I can only judge him by his actions since I haven't personally met the man.
Ok, and our president is heading to Europe to make nice with the French and Germans. What's your point? The Germans and French actually have much more money invested there then we do. With that comes influence.
The writer is a Brit and Pravda is a Communist Party mouth piece. Lets keep things in perspective.
Make nice with the 'French', so ya think he will offer them some weaponry at a better rate.
You can always say tinkers dam.
I don't know and I damn well hope not. Personally, I hope Bush does what ever is in his power to undermine the EU. Lure their new members away, something.

Here is another post with the Russians screaming about US calling Syria names.
Now do you really think Syria is not a hot bed of terrorism????
How the world has changed in a mere 15 years, hard line Russians now lecuturing us on how to run a demcoracy.
Because his Soviet paymasters require him to do so?
Yob tvoyu mat!
I spent that time in the 101st Psy ops. Ohare field 1969.
I guess you think were the only one.
Ops4 God Bless America!
Personally, I think Israel should have bum rushed Damascas a long time ago. Still, regardless of what my views are, the second article doesn't compare to the first in the least. The second is typical political rhetorict that everyone launches at everyone when ever some one does something in the ME. The EU and Britian have been screaming the same thing, albait Blair hasn't but we'll see what happens after the next British elections.
The problem with Syria is that Bashir just hasn't lost any wars yet and hasn't calmed down like his father, either that or he wants a light war to loose as an excuse to get rid of his father's generals and put in his own.
As for Hezbullah, I don't think that Syria can actually afford to cut funding on them and retain Lebanon, which they view as a province. As long as they keep them focused on the Jews, they don't have to deal with them themselves and Hezbullah could very easily make Syria's occupation of Lebanon very very costly.
Either way, it will be interesting to watch it play out.
I do highly doubt that the Russians will sell Syria SA-18s, because the trip from Syria through Turkey (which supports Islamic Chechin terrorism, though not overtly), through corrupt Georgia to Russia's Chechnya is not a long trip. Heavy anti aircraft arrays are not going to get deployed but manpods that's a different story.
I had a worse phrase in mid but I wont use it!
