MEMBERS OF CODEPINK: WOMEN FOR PEACE UNFURL BANNERS AND SPEAK OUT AGAINST THE IRAQ WAR DURING GEORGE BUSHS INAUGURAL ADDRESS
Washington, DC As George W. Bush gave his inaugural address in front of the U.S. Capitol, six women peace activists stood up on their chairs in the VIP section and shouted bring the troops home! The women also held up banners reading No War, Out of Iraq Now, and Bush Mandate: Troops Home Now. They were dragged out of the inaugural ceremony by the police, and two of the women are still in police custody.

Score one for our side since two of them are still in police custody. Hope they can make charges stick. :)
I didn't see it, but I did hear some shouting during the speech.
YYYYYeeeessssss!!!!!
You wouldn't hit a lady, wouldja?
what you also didn't hear about is that a) the folks who were just there to hear the speech started throwing snowballs at them as soon as they stood up and started to holler and b) that when the news photogs rushed to the snow fence to shoot pics of htem being arrested, the entire section of trhe people sitting aroudn the protests stood up to block the picture.
Throw 'em in a camp in Wyoming, for the duration.
Gitmo.
How does this woman keep getting this kind of access? This isn't the first time she has managed to get in to a close spot to Bush or a VIP seat and do this. Someone is getting her inside.
How do these people manage to get into "the VIP section"? Aren't they well-known by now to security officials?
KA-POWWWWW!
There were pictures of her over at the live thread. They were just acting like morons. The cop was putting the cuffs on her and she contorted her face like she was being hit with a 2x4 with a rusty nail in it. Total drama queen loser. I'll see if I can find the picture.
It would be interesting to see where her ticket came from.
Any guesses?
dumbass.

Excellent!!! That's what needs to be done everytime these people try to get attention by disrupting something else.
oooh were you there? or where did you hear this?
Also are there pics posted yet of the Freeper Ball? Couldn't find them.
Some days you really need a good Israeli bulldozer driver.
Yep, those are the ones. What a freak show.
I think she's an escaped shopper from Goodwill.
Code pink was waving signs from the San Diego freeway yesterday, screwing up the commute.
They should either get jobs or jump next time.
