The Prayer Serviceis starting now
They brought in another denomination for that.
Please keep up the commentary! I am unable to watch/listen. I love all the verses to the National Anthem, and I will admit I do not know the others by heart.
I just love these services. They're so familiar and comforting, like Mama's cooking when you're sick. Add in that it drives the Left to insanity and it's most satisfying indeed.
Rabbi speaking now in Hebrew and English. The EAGLES UP! verse from Isaiah.
Oh, good, I can watch with friends.
I hope they sing the Battle Hymn of the Republic...the original non-politically correct one, of course.
They said he would not be speaking.
I think I read yesterday that is the Scripture the bible was opened to when President Bush took the oath of office.
Isa 40:28-31
(28) Have you not known? Have you not heard, that the everlasting God, Jehovah, the Creator of the ends of the earth, does not grow weak nor weary? There is no searching of His understanding.
(29) He gives power to the weary; and to him with no vigor; He increases strength.
(30) Even the young shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall;
(31) but those who wait on Jehovah shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Amen.
O, thus be it ever, when free men shall stand, Between their loved homes, and the war's desolation.
Blessed with victory and peace, may the Heav'n-rescued land,
Praise the pow'r, that has made, and preserved us a nation.
Then conquer we must, when our cause it is just,
And this be our motto, "In God is our trust."
And the star-spangled banner in triumph shall wave,
O'er the land of the free and the home of the brave.
Actually, this is the FOURTH verse. The middle two are VERY war-like and say neener-neener to the British.
Fox had talking heads on while How Great thou Art was being sung. I turned it to another channel. They were actually discussing one of the Bush Kerry debates. Yeeesh
Nice prayer from a black minister now.
Now the congregation is reading Psalm 29.
When Christ shall come With shout of acclamation And take me home what joy shall fill my heart Then I shall bow in humble adoration And there proclaim my God how great thou art
"Faith of Our Fathers."
Faith of Our Fathers up now
The Voice of God is being heard at this service.
Humbling.
"We shall be true to thee til death"
President Bush has a hard time standing still ...that little boy coming out...watch him, he's always looking at his program, what's coming up, what's ahead...
