You know what you get when you take the Go-Gos and subtract all the talent?

All my little friends and I wanted to be Belinda Carlisle.

The Pats are ripe for the picking. Sure, sure. Belichick is something like 13-0, or some other bug-eyed statistic, when he meets a team that beat him earlier the very next time. Tom Brady is a playoff God, and there's no way the Pats are going to turn the ball over as much as they did on Halloween. Your Steelers are very, very good (even though they should've lost to Muffy Pennington and the J-E-T-S last week), but my Pats are very, very, VERY good. Pats by at least ten.

There are so many bands that started in the 80's with the new technology in synthesizers. Flock of Seaguls was one of them, Paul Hardcastle, Howard Jones...Peter Gabriel, others.
New Wave rock...man, I am having a flash back!!!

Interesting Toni Basil/Mickey facts from swinginchicks.com:
"Mickey" was written by Mike Chapman and Nicky Chinn, the team that also wrote "Love Is a Battlefield" for Pat Benatar ... supposedly the song was going to be called "Kitty," as sung by a man to a woman ... Toni's "Mickey" video of "Mickey" landed in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame as an example of a "one-hit wonder," and in 2001 VH1 named it the #1 one-hit wonder of all time ... it also got one of the greatest kudos possible for a song -- a parody version by "Weird Al" Yankovic, this one called "Ricky" and working on "I Love Lucy" themes ...
